The GaLaBau exhibition is back again in 2012, when the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg is turned into a huge store for professionals from the green sector from 12–15September. All those who design, construct and maintain gardens, parks, open spaces, sports grounds, playgrounds and golf courses can update on the latest products and services at GaLaBau and its two PLAYGROUND and Deutsche Golfplatztage segments. Six months before GaLaBau, we spoke to Stefan Dittrich, whose team organizes the event at NürnbergMesse, and asked him about the progress of preparations for the exhibition.

The 4-day GaLaBau exhibition with its PLAYGROUND and Deutsche Golfplatztage (German Golf Course Days) segments finished in Nürnberg on Saturday, 18 September 2010, with exactly 60,127 trade visitors*. “The mood in the exhibition halls was excellent. Our exhibitors were rushed off their feet by the current big demand for new machinery and equipment, plants and materials. The exhibition took place at exactly the right time,” says Rolf Keller, Member of the Management Board of NürnbergMesse. 1,076 exhibitors, including 17 per cent international companies, presented the complete range of products and services for green design, construction and maintenance. * The figures for exhibitors and visitors were checked and certified by the Society for Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics (FKM), Berlin.
