Whether machinery or equipment for grass maintenance, seeds, substrates or irrigation systems, greenkeepers will soon find what they're looking for among the some 120 exhibitors spread throughout the 12 exhibition halls at GaLaBau. Machinery and equipment can also be tested personally on the demonstration areas in the Dutzendteich Park. The heart of the Deutsche Golfplatztage (German Golf Course Days) is hall 4A with its central “Meeting Point”. Here all the golf associations supporting the event present their services, headed by the Deutscher Golfverband (DGV), the Bundesverband Golfanlagen (BVGA), the Golf Management Verband Deutschland (GMVD) and the Greenkeeper Verband Deutschland (GVD). Thepublisher Köllen Druck + Verlag is also there with its Greenkeepers Journal and golfmanager magazines. Integrated Pest Management: joint presentation by DGV and BGL

For the first time, DGV in cooperation with the Bundesverband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau (BGL – Federal Landscape Contractors Association) is organizing a seminar intended for both greenkeepers and landscape gardeners at 13:30 on Wednesday, 12 September. This covers the currently important subject of “Integrated Pest Management for Grassed Areas”. Admission is free, but prior registration is requested. Golf Business Cup in Lichtenau-Weickershof

It is meanwhile almost a tradition that the Golf Business Cup marks the start of the Golf Congress – in 2012 too. The Golf Business Cup 2012 is a cooperation between DGV, GMVD and BVGA and takes place on the championship course of the Lichtenau-Weickershof Golf Club on 12 September. Golf Congress 2012: focus on specialist information and networking

The Golf Congress, in the NCC Ost congress centre next to exhibition hall 4A on 13–14 September, offers interesting presentations for managers and operators of golf courses.
